The Dodo: Thank you for joining us today! Snouts, Paws & Tails has quickly become a favorite for pet owners. Can you tell us a little bit about what inspired you to start this company?

CEO of Snouts, Paws & Tails: Thank you for having me! The inspiration for Snouts, Paws & Tails really came from my own experiences as a pet owner. I found it frustrating to have to visit multiple stores to get everything my pets needed—food, grooming, supplies, training, you name it. I wanted to create a place where pet owners could find all the essentials and services under one roof, with the quality and care that pets deserve. Our mission is to make life easier and more joyful for pets and their parents.

The Dodo: That’s a fantastic vision! Your company is known for its strong values, especially around sustainability and community involvement. How do those values shape what you do?

CEO of Snouts, Paws & Tails: Sustainability and community are at the heart of everything we do. We prioritize eco-friendly products and practices, and we work closely with local shelters and rescues to support pet adoption. Our goal is to not only provide excellent products and services but also to make a positive impact on our community and the environment. We believe that every small action contributes to a larger good, whether it’s using sustainable materials or helping a pet find its forever home.

The Dodo: Speaking of pet adoption, we’ve heard that Snouts, Paws & Tails has some great initiatives to support new pet parents. Can you tell us more about that?

CEO of Snouts, Paws & Tails: Absolutely! We’re passionate about helping pets find loving homes, so we’ve put several programs in place to support adopters. For example, we assist with adoption paperwork to make the process as smooth as possible. We also offer discounts on any necessary medications, and when you purchase our First-Day Photoshoot package, you get a free grooming session for your new pet. Plus, every new adoptee goes home with a free toy—just a little something to help them settle in and feel loved from day one.

The Dodo: Those are some great perks! How do you ensure that your staff is aligned with the company’s values and mission?

CEO of Snouts, Paws & Tails: We’re very selective in our hiring process, looking for individuals who share our passion for pets and our commitment to quality care. Once on board, our staff undergoes thorough training to ensure they’re not only knowledgeable but also aligned with our values. We also encourage ongoing education and provide opportunities for our team to learn and grow within the pet care industry. Our customers often comment on how caring and knowledgeable our staff is, and that’s something we take great pride in.

The Dodo: Finally, what’s next for Snouts, Paws & Tails? Any exciting plans you can share with us?

CEO of Snouts, Paws & Tails: We’re always looking for ways to innovate and improve our offerings. We’re currently exploring new ways to enhance our subscription services and expand our community involvement through more events and partnerships with local shelters. We’re also working on some exciting new product lines that focus even more on sustainability and health. The future is bright, and we’re excited to continue growing and serving our community in the best ways possible.
